Tim has been National Director since 2003. During this
time, he refocussed the organisation on church planting and training
missionaries for the local Australian context. Tim was commissioned as
an evangelist in 1989 and served in Sydney, Canberra and Goulburn
dioceses. Between 1995 and 2003, he started and built a church around
people recovering from alcohol and drug addiction in Branson, USA. His
experience and vision is central to Restoration at Kihilla. |

Jim brings a pastoral touch to the realities of finance and
administration. Jim oversees all the day-to-day details for Church Army
Australia, from human resources to the financial management of all our
projects. As an experienced leader, Jim knows that the way a job gets
done is as important as the job itself. He has also worked as a
counsellor with Lifeline and the Salvation Army in NSW prisons.

Local Mission Base Coordinator

John works closely
with our local mission base leaders by providing vital assistance and
mentoring support. With a strong background in business and education,
John provides valuable advice to our leaders about a host of management
issues. When he is not out with our network, John works part-time with
St John’s Anglican Church, Mona Vale, on Sydney’s northern beaches. |
Kihilla

In addition to solving
all our IT needs, Jon oversees the renovation and development of Kihilla
in conjunction with the Restoration program. An experienced evangelist
and youth minister (commissioned in 1999), Jon teaches in Global GAP
program and is involved in the leadership of the Lawson Local Mission
Base. |

Ken Morgan

Ken oversees the
development and delivery of missional training in Church Army. He has
developed the curriculum for the Certificate IV in local mission and the
Global GAP year program. He is an experienced coach and church
consultant having worked with CRM and a variety of corporations in human
resources management. Ken lives in Melbourne, with wife Janet and
daughters Melissa and Danielle |

Peter Adkins

Peter oversees the
short-term missional training program offered by Church Army Australia
in partnership with Gwen. Commissioned in 1987, Peter is ordained and
has worked with a variety of Anglican dioceses including Brisbane,
Sydney and Tasmania. Peter has a strong interest in seeing young adults
become more effective in their faith and he oversees the academic
dimension to this exciting initiative. |

Gwen oversees the
short-term missional training program offered by Church Army Australia
in partnership with Peter. Gwen provides much pastoral – even parental
- support to the GAP students. She is passionate about building
effective Christian communities and is playing a key role in Kihilla’s
spiritual development. |

Ian joined the team in
2007 to lead Church Army’s drug and alcohol recovery ministry. Ian is
from Branson, USA, and knows well the life transforming nature of
Christ-centred communities. Ian helps our local mission bases to
provide recovery programs for those they encounter. |

Sandy is a vital
part of the operations team working in the office three days a week
(Wednesday through Friday). She has a strong background in
volunteering and pastoral care with a variety of community
organisations dealing with children and the elderly.

Wayne oversees the
publication of our stories in print and electronic formats. He also
plays a key role in helping our organisation and the Anglican Church
overall learn from the experience of church planting. He is also
Secretary for the national Anglican task force Fresh Expressions
