Martin Morgan has been the National Director of Church Army Australia since February 2011.
He has loved his first 18 months in this role.
Martin started trusting and following Jesus as a teenager in Papua New Guinea after hearing the great news that Jesus was able and willing to forgive him. The truth of Jesus’ Resurrection and the hope this gives motivates his desire to send and support Evangelists.
After studying Architecture for a couple of years he changed course and became an English and History Secondary School teacher. He studied Theology before planting and establishing a number of thriving congregations in Orange in the Central West of New South Wales from 1995-2003. He then planted and pastored the Rouse Hill Anglican Church in Sydney’s North West from 2004-2011.
He is absolutely convinced that Church Army Evangelists are a crucial part of God’s plan to positively transform Australian lives with the Good News of Jesus.
He loves the fact that Church Army is all about identifying, sending and supporting Evangelists into this great but needy nation of ours. He prays to see many more Evangelists sent to reach people beyond those currently in existing churches with the Gospel of Jesus.
